Congratulations to Mike and Amanda who tied the knot at Makapu’u Beach on February 3rd, 2014. This was a wedding we surely will never forget! It is rare that it rains all day in Hawaii, and usually rain passes within 15 minutes or so and clears up to a sky filled with sunshine. On February 3rd however, this was not the case. A clear morning soon turned into grey skies and before we knew it, it was pouring buckets. As vendors waited in their cars, and the groomsmen stayed dry in the bus, we anxiously checked the radar report looking for a gap in rain clouds so we could hold the ceremony. As luck would have it, we got that gap, and went for it! The skies cleared just long enough to hold a beautiful beach front ceremony, a first dance, and a flower shower. Just as we were finishing up photos, the drops started again, it was perfect timing. Thank you to Mike and Amanda for trusting us with your special day. You two were such sports and we’re so happy that we were able to find a little window of sunshine on your special day. 🙂 Don’t forget, rain on your wedding day means LOTS of blessings!!!
Cheers to your “Best Day Ever!” may there be many more to come!
Sincerely, Nicole (+Erika)
A big mahalo to all of our vendors!
