Adam + Jessica | best day ever

A BIG MAHALO to Adam and Jessica, who tied the knot at JW Marriott Ihilani Ko Olina Resort on August 12, 2014, and donated over 3 dozen beautiful wedding centerpieces and bouquets to our Share the Aloha Program!

This was the first time I personally dropped off floral donations to our participating nursing homes and it was an absolutely AMAZING experience 🙂 With Adam and Jessica’s donations, we were able to bring so many smiles to residents at the Plaza at Punchbowl, Island Nursing Home, Kapi’olani Medical Center for Women and Children, Shriners Children’s Hospital, and Hale Nohea.

Meeting the residents at the nursing homes was so much fun and the way their eyes lit up as I gave them the flowers was so precious. They all said they loved the colors, which were beautiful shades of purple, blue, and white, and were just so grateful for the thoughtful and beautiful gift. Because there were a lot of centerpieces, we were also able to decorate around the offices of each nursing home and hit dozens of residents at 3 nursing homes, the childrens cancer floor at Kapiolani Childrens Hospital, and the kids at Shriners Hospital 🙂

Thank you Adam and Jessica for your beautiful donations!! You guys are amazing and your flowers definitely did not go to waste!

Jess and Adam have been one of our favorite couples from the start. Adam is the founder of a really cool foundation you may of herd of called “Movember“. It’s where guys raise money and awareness for prostate cancer, testicular cancer and mental health, by growing out their mustaches in the month of November. Totally fun, and for a great cause. Jess, is pretty fab herself, a producer in LA, and perhaps one of the sweetest and funniest girls we know.

I had been working with Jess for several months prior to her wedding, helping her with vendors, decor, budget and hundreds of other details. When you have helped a bride from the very beginning, before they even have a venue, you almost feel as though it’s your wedding too, and it becomes equally important to you that everything fall into place and be as beautiful as possible. August 12th, 2014, was definitely one of those moments, where everything falls into place in the most perfect way, all the vendors, all the decor, all the smiles… and you realize, it was all worth it!

Amazing floral arrangements by Passion Roots paired off with a posh lounge from Les Saisons, and several elegant chandeliers from Hawaii Tents created the perfect backdrop for Jessica’s “Boho Chic” purple and magenta theme. The brightly colored parasols and chalkboard signs helped pull everything together. It was perfect. The weather, the decor, all the happy guests, and of course, the bride and groom.

Thank you Jess & Adam for trusting us with such an important moment. It was one of the best weddings we’ve ever been a part of and we hope you enjoyed every second of it. Best wishes and keep in touch!
